Highland Perthshire Youth Initiative received grant aid in 2005 to support a summer and autumn programme of activities. Music Gigs, football in Perth, day trips to Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow. The "Gig in the Vic", band practises and study visits to Youth cafes elsewhere were just part of what the funding was used to develop.

Later in 2006, we will be applying to the Rank Foundation for a local youth worker; meanwhile we have appointed a voluntary youth worker. We need to listen now to young people and adults in other Highland PErthshire Communities to help bright ideas for young people become realities. We will also develop counselling, advice, information and other youth services.
